hello, well i am now 30 weeks along and i
realized i have absolutely nothing for the
baby. i mean nothing. My bf matt says to
wait for my baby shower in a few weeks to
see what we get. Then we will go
shopping. He thinks it's too early to go
shopping for baby stuff. But i keep
having this nightmare that i go into
labour with absolutely nothing ready for
baby. Whats your opinion on the this
should i be buying things now and what
should i be buying before my baby shower?
Well the good thing is that i go on
maternity leave next friday so i will have
time to clean and set things up hopefully
lol. thanks

I'm 32 weeks and I hardly have anything.
We don't even have a place for baby to
sleep yet. And I don't know of any plans
for a baby shower so I'm kinda worried.
Everything is so expensive and it's hard
to figure out what is really neccessary
and what can wait. We went shopping
around today but didn't buy anything and I
was so tired out after the 2nd store.
Shopping is pretty tiring for me at this
point so I don't know what it'll be like
the closer we get to the due date.

just wanted to remind you girls that
Craigslist.org is a great place to find
baby stuff! and ofcourse garage
sales..some things if cleaned well are
wonderful to get second hand!

Isn't that the truth? I got almost all my
stuff from craigslist. I am still waiting
for the right crib and a good changing
table to get on there. I am obsessed with
craigslist and check several times a day!!

I am 28 weeks along, and we don't have
much yet. We don't even have a room to
set up for the baby yet. When we found
out I was pregnant, we had to do a some
remodeling so that the baby could have a
room of her own. We have picked up
several things at garage sales and had
some stuff given to us. But we are going
to wait until after my baby shower in a
few weeks to get anything else we may
need. Good luck to you and don't worry to
much. I'm sure you will get a lot of the
stuff you need at your baby shower.
