why do some of the topics get locked, or
so only some people can read them

locked if a mod sees drama, or if it is a
topic we know turns into drama rapidly.
Some posts we move to a moderator only
forum for review. These may either stay
there, get deleted or have certain posts
removed and then be moved back to the main
forum.
This is now locked because this question
invariably leads to debate.
You are welcome to pm a moderator if you
feel one of your posts has been locked in
error.
We will then have a look and make a
decision.
