Q: Anyone Waiting to Find Out sex of the baby ?

I posted this once and it disappeared. I'm just wondering if I'm the only one who hasn't found out the sex of the baby yet. People have been telling me I should find out because it makes it easier to buy for the baby. I don't think I even know anyone else that hasn't found out already. I guess I just want it to be a surprise, plus I don't think it matters that much what colours a baby wears. I had problems earlier in my pregnancy and could have lost the baby so that makes the sex of the baby seem to matter even less. I'm just so grateful that baby is okay. Is there anyone else that has chosen to wait? Question

I have chossen not to wait and my next apt is the 13 just because I measure bigger than I am suppose to. Anyways when my fiance and I went at 21 weeks the baby didnt want to show us anything so hopefully we get to see soon but a suprise wouldnt bother me either way as long as the baby is healthy.

I decided to find out, but I think waiting is great.
I just don't have the patience Very Happy
Shopping is no big deal, just stick to neutrals... and just like you said as long as he or she is healthy it doesn't matter!
And plus now we all get to be excited with you to find out what your having Mr. Green

Do you have a feeling as to the sex of your little one?

i have a good feeling that its a boy but everyone else says its a girl hopefully its just a beautiful little baby and healthy. My doctor said yesterday the heartbeat was in the 140ish range so cross the fingers for a boy. Lol my mom has us four girls so she hopes its a boy but from day one when i found out I was pregnant I would call it a him without knowing I did it.

My dh and I were looking at my baby pictures at my mom's over the weekend. There was a picture of the cake from the baby shower and it said 'welcome baby (my last name)' my dh looked at my mom and asked if they had trouble deciding on a name. (this was taken about 2 weeks before I was born). My mom laughed and told him that back in 'her day' they didn't tell you the sex. Both, me and my dh were caught off guard. The only people we know that didn't know were people who's baby was uncooperative and wouldn't show them. We actually talked a while about not knowing the sex until delivery. But, only time will tell. I'm not sure I can be that patient.

I don't have a feeling of whether it will be a boy or a girl. I can think of a million reasons why I would be happy with either. I guess maybe I am the only one who doesn't know. Shocked

my first prenatal appointment is on the 4th (i'm 27 weeks)... i feel like such a bad parent for not being able to have it sooner. but at this point i don't care if it a boy or girl, as long as it's healthy. i've actually been thinking about waiting till the birth to find out, seeing as how the gender isn't very important. But if i can find out, i will take full advantage of the knowledge.

I definately wanna find out as soon as possible. Im so excited to buy all the gender oriented stuff, i have been collecting neutrel stuff for some time now.
WIth our future pregnancies we will probably have at least one suprise....I heard that with first pregnancies you are not aloud to find out the sex, is that true??

I think maybe it depends on what part of the world you are from. I am pregnant with my first, we found out it was a girl at about 20 weeks. I am so glad we were able to find out; I think the suspense of waiting till birth would have killed me!!!
