6 Wks From Due Date And Spotting...
Posted: 05-30-07 11:04am

Hi girls,

Well I have been feeling like crap the last few days. Lower back pain and headaches and feeling like I am going to start my period. Just a few minutes ago, I went to the bathroom and I am spotting. I am presently waiting for the High risk nurse to phone me back to find out what I should do. I knew something was up, but I just hope that it is not anything serious. Baby has been moving like mad the last few days as well. The movement is insaine. I pray that its not any indication to whats to come. ALso note that i have had the occasional sharp pain in my vagina over the last few days.. just chopped that up to the baby.

Has anyone else had this happen close to delivery?

Mary

Sorry you feel so crappy.

Let us know what the nurse says when she calls back. I'm sure it's nothing serious.

good luck girl!! If its any consolation there is a 99% chance that if you have the baby at 34 weeks there will be no long term negative effects for the baby so you pretty much in the clear if something is going on

Thanks girls.

I am home now. Spotting has completely stopped and my cervix is still very high so they are not worried at all. Thank god.

I am glad that I went in and got checked.

Cheers,

Mary

I'm glad everything is fine. It's always better to be safe then sorry.

Did they do an ultrasound or did they use the doppler?

They had me hooked to two round things.. one was like a doppler the other read movement or something like that.. I am not really sure.

take care...

I am glade that you are fine and the baby is till holding on a little longer. I would like to say I had a baby at 34 and 3 days and she is fine and 13 years old now. I pray you little one holds on but If not I know all will be fine.
