Bedtime Snack

Hi Stan

No matter what I do before I go to sleep, I wake up the next day with various degrees of low blood sugar symptoms. I actually feel like I've been run over by a truck.

I have tried:

High carb snack (i have bad dreams and night sweats)
Equal protein and carb snack - blood sugar really low
High protein and low carb snack - same as equal pro and carb.

any ideas what I can eat which won't make me put on weight or feel c**p the next morning?

thanks

You should be eating only protein really and fat. Two hard boiled eggs, some nuts and perhaps some cheese should do the trick. However, don't make the same mistake many hypoglycemics do, which it seems like you may be. Don't expect to feel awesome in a short time, this takes months of agony before you start to feel right again, there is no real quick fix.
