if i have a tatoo on my lower back will it affett me from geting a shot when i'm a giving birth??????

by "shot" do you mean an epidural? no, a lower back tattoo should not interfere with an epi.

and for the record, an epidural is more than "a shot". it's a huge needle that goes into your spine.

oh good i am more terrified of the epidural then labor...I cant even think of huge needle goinginto my spine...and im a nurse. I hope my labor goes well...or I dunno what im gonna do.

i had *horrible* back labor and was in so much pain i seriously didn't even notice the epi. i felt *nothing* and the relief was almost immediate.

i told my nurse if i wasn't already married i would have proposed to the anesthesiologist.

Shocked Shocked epidurals scare the *** out of me! I didn't have one with my daughter.


I give women who got/get them *major* props!!!!!! ::shiver::

Theres no way I'll allow a stranger to stick a 3 inch needle into my spine! Shocked
