aww, well i get my next paycheck on the 4th.. i can help you pay for it if you'd really like to do it? just let me know Wink

i already have a question, which plan should i do, the core plan or the flex plan? flex plan is the points.. i think that'd be easiest for me to keep track of, i might do that one.

yay! we can be ww buddies!

i just got back on track after taking 2 weeks off. i didn't go crazy, i just wasn't counting points for a while. sometimes i need a break so i can really commit myself when i restart.

i'd go with flex (mainly because i'm an old school member and there was no such thing as core when i joined, so i don't even know what it is).

good luck! if you stay on track for the full week i'm sure you'll have an awesome motivating weigh in! (the first week is usually a big loss)

whenever you arent busy would you mind pming me some stuff about it? like recipes or something? it doesnt have to be anytime soon, whenever you're free! & it doesnt have to be a whole lot!

btw, with the online do you get a thing to count the points with? or do i have to go on ebay and get one?

sure, i'll send you some stuff later. i can't right now though because my computer is working ridiculously slow and i want to punch the screen in. i'll send you some recipes and a list of my favorite snacks and treats.

i don't know if you'll get a points slider thing. maybe they send you a packet in the mail or maybe there's an online function? you could always ask on the ww forums but they're meeeean so be careful!

I'll let you try it for a few weeks and see how you like it. Then I'm in.

I just have to figure everything else out. I don't want to commit and fail. Does the online help with an exercise schedule or suggestions? Or is it strictly food?

I wish I had the urge to lose weight. I lost 54 of 59 lbs. then I just went nuts and gained 7 lbs in these last 2 months. Going back to work did it. There's always food in the lounge and I got into a bad habit of eating fast food when Jesse's working nights. I just baked brownies. I'm hoping to be pregnant soon, so I don't have to stress about losing weight.

Are you going to take before and after pics so you can track your progress? I always thought that was a great motivator.

I quit smoking 3 years ago this coming up October...i have gained darn near 100 pounds ....i started going too the gym a month ago and i have lost 17 inches and 8 lbs....but im not really dieting just kinda cut out the bad things(yea i said kinda*wink*) id like too go on weight watchers...does this site tell you how many points you have too do for your weight and does it let you know how many points each thing is worth? ....bout 6 years ago i was on atkins and i lost a pile of weight on that bout 80 lbs but i felt sick and always hungry on it .

yep, i entered my height and weight, and it said "your first goal should be to lose 10%" so my goal right now is to be down to 150, and once i get there i can work to bigger goals. they told me my healthy weight would be between 119-137.

on the site it has a point counter so you know how may points something is, and it gives you some recipes and some exercising tips, and tells you how to do portions and it was pretty informative, i read on the site for probably 2 hours, maybe more.

i think you sould check it out! i haven't started yet, but i've heard a lot of good things about it, just like bridget.. she lost 80 pounds on it! i'm really hoping this works for me. and once you get down to your goal weight, there's a plan to maintain that weight, too!

im so excited Laughing

terra, here are some of my staples (i'm a big snacker, especially at night)-

peppermint patty (full size)- 3 points
light lay's potato chips- 1 oz is 1 point (the other light varieties are 2 points)
pirate's booty (tastes *just* like cheese curls)- 1 oz is 3 points but an ounce of this stuff is *a lot* (in the health food section)
quaker rice cakes and the minis- full size is 1 point or 7 minis for 1 point (the caramel ones are awesome!)
cereal!- most healthy kinds are 2 points (cheerios, special k, rice chex), "kid" kinds are 3 (lucky charms, froot loops)
fudgesicles!!!- don't be fooled by the ww brand ones. the generic store brand are also 1 point and bigger and so much cheaper (i eat 2-3 a day)
skinny cows (fancy ice cream sandwiches)- 2-3 points depending on the flavor
rice krispie treats- 2 points (the chocolate peanut butter ones are awesome)
100 calorie packs of anything- mostly 2 points, but those mini chocolate hostess cupcakes are 1! (however, if you eat 2 packs of the cupcakes it would be 4)

that's it for now! baby crabcakes is calling me.
