As i said in my last post a few posts
down, I have no insurance so any helpful
ideas of treatments or diagnosis will help
ALOT.
Treatments I have tried- Physical therapy,
massage, diet change, job change,
excersise, not excersiing, sleeping more,
sleeping less, migraine meds, OTC meds,
muscle relaxers (this has worked best, but
a few people i know have died from using
them so I stopped) dental work, eye exams,
chiro.
My headache sin a nutshell....Most begin
with a couldy feeling in the morning, I
almost know Ill get one- its like a stuffy
head & sore muscles, a little naseua
throughout the day.....otherwise they
begin with very dull achey pain in my
shoulders....it always spreads to my neck
and for an hour feels like a sore neck so
I stretch and crack & wait it
out....by evening i feel a huge wieght in
my upper back, face and head.
Sometimes this is accomanied by sinus
pressure & liquid filled yees that
when i rub they make sounds..sometimes not
depending on the day and the season.
I feel it most in my shoulders now (though
i define it as a headache, it goes away if
someone squeezes my shoulders or presses
my back , but come sback when they stop)
All of my upper back feels like it needs
to be popped, VERY tense which of course
makes me feel sick & dizzy and
drained.
It hurts to open my eyes, it hurts bad
when i stoop down or bend over...my neck
gets stiff and all along my head feels
like i got hit with a huge rock.
Thats about it....oh and the strange thing
i have as of a few years ago, which has
been discusse don here, is that below my
occipital i can volunatrily "POP" it , and
it pops when i nod or lean my head back.
Also, I get sick form cig smoke or light
(and i do smoke, so i wanted to post that
poll to see how many else do) but it never
quit when i quit smoking for a year.
They are either everyday for a week or
two or at least once a week. Sometimes i
have woken up with one, but usually they
come at night. The worste is when i wake
up at night with one out of nowhere,
because then i know it will last all day
and keep me form being able to move
about.
I think my unique symptoms is the liquid
filled eyes, has anyone had this? I
sometimes rub my eyes like hard (it osunds
crazy) but i also lift my eyelids to break
the pressure....it is almost always when i
have a headache....in fact, if i rub my
eyes or below my eyes and hear the
drianage, i know i will have one later.
I told my doctor this, hoping for some
sinus treatments like drianage, but she
said shes never heard of it.

Allot of the pain you are describing
sounds like a tension headache. I suggest,
if you don't have any insurance to try
some excedrine tension headache and see if
that helps any. There are some
prescriptions for this, but they can be
very pricey.
You might also want to concider keeping a
pain journal. Write down what you are
feeling and doing and what you are eating.
This can help to see if you have any
triggers so that you can avoid them.
