There is now an hpv vaccine, but as far as
I know it's only for women.... since hpv
doesn't affect men except that some
strains of hpv will cause genital warts.

The Vaccine is only for women with HPV.
Condoms do not prevent the transmitting of
the virus either. I actually got the HPV
virus from an ex boyfriend. Certian types
of HPV can clear up on its own that was
the virus i had. the only way a women
knows she has it is by a test done during
a pap test or HPV can also cause vaginal
warts. some women show symptoms others
dont. i never did and i never knew i had
it until i had my annual pap done and it
came back abnormal. there is no test for
men either, according to my gyno a man
only can know he has it by showing warts
usually. u can look up online there is a
lot of information on it now.

HPV is a sexually transmitted
infection/disease, usually in the form of
genital warts. There are many strains and
symptoms do not always present themselves,
even though it would still be possible to
transmit it to others. You should know
about STD/STI's if you are sexually
active, so please do some research.
