So i dont know really if i wanna stay here or leave when jason leaves. I have no one here but at the same time we will have an extra $2,600 if i stay . plus jasons prob getting a truck. And i think what if he gets hurt and has to come back and no ones here to help him. I wanna go to the states too though but i dont wanna fly alone with 2 kids under 2. We would be saving money there too with no phone bill and both cars would be nondriver insured. And saving on groceries but also we can save money being here too with the extra he gets for being gone. My parents want me to go back and part of me wants to but i just dunno. Plus if the base finds out your gone more then 3 mths u can possibly lose your house etc. So now im sorta stuck and i dunno what to do.

yeah i know, like our neighbors will mow our lawn if i stay here or leave, but i dont wanna like end up losing our house, but we cuold have aneighbor watch it too. Before i was all like ok im going to the states now im not so sure. Its supposed to only be 6-8mths but its hard when ur alone with 2 kids. I look forward to him coming home everyday cuz if i needed to i can get a break or have a shower and hes there to watch em , when hes gone im here and the only break i get is when theyre in bed but when he was in the field for 3 weeks i felt overwhelmed with the kids, mostly joseph he tends to act worse when jasons gone for long periods of time. I just kinda like to have someone there so i can say i need to take a break or something.

hmm could be a possibility but i dont know anyone that could pick me up from the airport, cuz personally if i did that id leave when he left to go to the states, come back here for the last half so im here when he gets back and go to the welcome home ceremony. Cuz he really wants me there for that. but ah man i dont know what to do, i wish i had a rich jobless friend that could come stay here with me lol

then what happens with all our household goods etc? it seems like more work then its worth. Jason brought it up about that but then he said about me staying with my parents until he leaves germany in april 2009 and i dont wanna do that.

yeah, that seems like alota work to put it in storage. I wouldnt wanna do that then try and get it back before hes back, i could see if he was gone for 12-18mths possibly doing that and getting the BAH. BAH in fla is like 1500 or something. Technically we dont need the money although it would be nice, i think they get like an extra 500 in hazerdous duty then family seperation plus he just made e-4 so thats alil extra then the debt is almost paid off so thats an almost extra $200, and the owe us backpay in cola for jordynne since we havent yet got her ssn. So either way were doing ok. but if i went back to the states i cold amend our taxes to add jordynne, here i gotta wait until next yr tax season unless her ssn gets here before june 30th. So i think staying here or going there either way we got plenty of money. just be a tad more in fla.

You need to sit down and make a list of pros and cons. It will help you make a decision. Don't pile everything up at once either. Do one thing at a time and it will become clear what the right thing to do is/ NOne of us can tell you what to do because you seem to have rebuttals (sp?) when we do try to say something (which we all do). But make the list, it'll help.

Diane no offense but why do you come on here asking advice and when people give it to you , you just always seem to have a counter response. Always.

i was just stating i wrote a pro and con list before and they end up equaling eachother, theres good and bad to staying here but theres just as much good and bad going to the states. the difference in leaving is a 11 hr plane right with an hr and a half in between if im lucky and the plane leaves on time to switch planes, thats if jason doesnt get a space A flight wich is ona c-130 cargo plane and they have net seats on the sides so an uncomfy ride but thats $25 if he finds that.

yea i dunno if they do POD's here that ive seen or where any storage place is for tha tmatter. jason asked me last night what i wanted to do but at the same time said most likely ill be staying here, because he doesnt want the base to find out i am gone and then lose our house because that would really suck. But now my brother and his gf are going with my sister back to nc cuz they cant stand my dad so everythng is all up in the air at the moment, for some reason i think in the end ill be stuck here.

im pretty sure im staying here now, he called me on his lunch break to ask what i was doing, because i think he got approved for the loan for the truck and if istay here he can put the 2,600 on the loan and bring the payments down to like $226 or something instead of $340 but then also we would have to keep both vehicles insured because im sure id use the truck while he is gone as well. scary thought but i hope the time flies while hes away, it seemed like it did for the other people whose husbands left january theyre abotu to come back like next month. makes me nervous.
