I am 19 years of age and I had my first
siezure when I was 15. Throughout my
teenage years I have drank heavily. I have
only had about 10 major seizures. I was
just wondering if there is anyway a
seizure could affect you phyiscally....
like I heard about brain damage but Im not
sure if that is a myth or not. Alot of bad
things have happenend to me because of
drinking and I dont know how to help
myself, if you have any suggestions please
let me know

Well drinking first can intensify any meds
you are taking, also it can cause you to
go into a seizure and have a hard time
getting out. You have a condition now and
you have to be careful. It is easier for
you to OD then others due to your meds.
You might start lossing your memory, trust
me, take it from someone who knows. It is
best to stay away from it and people that
do it. Take this time to better your life
and make something out of yourself.

Once you have seizures and are on seizure
meds, don't drink. The meds. alone effect
your brain. Drinking can cause severe
problems, even death.

Have you gone to the doctor yet? Seizures
left untreated can cause damage because
what happens is it starts in one part of
your brain. If left untreated and if you
keep having them it will trigger other
parts of your brain and cause you to have
seizures more often. It also can cause
loss of memory, motor function and more
depending on where the defected area is in
the brain. The Temporal Lobe is the most
common start points. What causes
generalized (grandma) seizures is spikes
of electric pulses shooting from effected
area to the whole brain. The problem with
that is it can cause other areas of the
brain to start firing up or damage the
brain if it is in that stag to long or to
often.

Stop drinking alcohol. You are more
evolved than the laboratory monkey that
kills itself with unlimited access to
cocaine. You have to make a conscious
decision to take responsibility for
yourself and have the will power to take
ownership of your path in life. Good
luck.

for many people.
