And Her Name Is ...

Joleigh Ann.

i'm so happy we've made a final decision on what to call her. today we started using the name! we went shopping for some girly clothes & the whole time it was "Joleigh this" & "Joleigh that." my boyfriend completely agrees with me on the name & loves it just as much as i do.

her name means pretty & cheerful. perfect for her, since she was already smiling in the womb when the u/s was being performed.

It's a very pretty name. It's great when you name them and they become "more real"

I really like that name! Isn't it nice whenever you can start calling the baby by their name? I love it.

neither had i, but i came across it on one of those baby name websites months ago. very early on in my pregnancy. and i wrote it down somewhere. then when we found out it was a girl, i went back & started reading it to myself & something just clicked. once i looked up the meaning [pretty & cheerful] and i remember her smiling at the u/s, i .KNEW the name was mean for her.

thanks to everyone who replied!

and yes, it's truly amazing when you can start identifying them. it feels like she's finally complete. i just can't wait to see our little .Joleigh!

What a beautiful name! Name choosing is one of the most difficult parts of having a baby. It took me and my husband forever to finally agree on one!!!
