Well, I thought we'd have a better night.
She fought her sleep until midnight and
she usually goes to bed pretty easy while
sucking her bottle at bedtime. I did our
usual routine and went into the room about
930 and it was world war 3 until 12 when
she finally gave in. I gave her a 3 oz
bottle with some oatmeal in it and that
must have filled her up b/c she refused
the bottle after that even when I fixed
her a regular bottle. Finally after
fighting and fighting she took 2 ounces
and crashed out. She slept from 12 to
245. She woke up crying hysterically that
we thought we'd have to bring her to the
er. She didn't want the bottle, the
noonie, to be rocked, walked with, etc.
She was unconsolable from 245 to 330. I
walked with her upright and she fell
asleep against my cheek. I rocked her
like that for about 30 minutes then I put
her in bed. She slept until 7:15, now
she's up and very happy, but she doesn't
want to eat breakfast and she's farting
like crazy. I on the other hand am very,
very tired. I hope she naps better today.
No more cereal bottles! That was a
nightmare!!! Her little belly can't take
all of that.

i don't like the idea of putting cereal in
bottles, that's why i didn't comment on
your other thread. well, that and i didn't
have any other suggestions for you. at
this age she should be able to go 10-12
hours without eating (and she was, wasn't
she?). of course, if they're hungry
they're hungry and you can't do anything
but feed them.
could she be teething?
is she in her crib or your bed? i thought
i saw you mention she was sleeping in her
crib in another thread. could she be
waking up because it's different and maybe
freaking out because she's not used to
it?
maybe it's a growth spurt?
yeah, i'm no help. i just hope she has a
much much better night tonight! try to nap
with her today!

Well I never liked the cereal bottle idea,
but I was so desperate. She was sleeping
9-6 or 7 for about 2 months, then started
waking up when she got sick and cut those
teeth. Maybe she just got use to waking
up and it's habit now. She's been
starting the night in her bed for about a
week now, but she ends up in our bed by
midnight. It's not b/c of the bed because
she did it when she slept with us. i have
a dr. appt. for 3 today.
she only took a 30 min. nap and woke up to
poo.
