I Have Hsb- Herpes Whats the Difference??? Posted: 06-01-07 10:56am
So I wrote a couple days ago about
problems I was having and after many tests
one finally came back positive. I feel
like I knew all along that I could have
herpes, but the doctors kept saying no.
Well now I know for sure. But what the
difference between HSB, HPV-1, HPV-2??? I
keep reading up on herpes and it says
nothing about HSB and thats what the
doctor said I had. Then I was like thats
herpes and she was like yes.
Also maybe whats best to take to prevent
giving it to someone else. Should I not
be having sex at all? Sex with condom and
taking some type of preventitive drug
work? I have a woman that I'm going to
now be telling and want to be able to talk
with her about this issue since we are
really serious... thanks

I've never heard of HSB, but I think it's
a matter of confusion.
HPV is not herpes. HPV is the human
papillomavirus, that often shows as
genital warts.
HSV is herpes. So it's possible that you
heard B, but maybe she said V?
