I switched pediatricians again today.
This is her third one and I really like
her. She sat down and talked to me unlike
the other two. Ava's ears and everything
else is fine. She said giving a baby a
cereal bottle is okay but only if you
start at an early age. At 2 months their
digestive system works 24 hours a day, but
at 6 months it works slowly at night. She
said that it was just like us eating a big
meal before bed. It gave her indigestion.
She said that if I want to try it again
to start slowly with it and then increase.
Being that she's almost 7 months and it
was her first one right before bed, her
little body couldn't handle it. Poor baby
girl. She's crashed out right now. I had
to wake her to go to the appointment.
She said to stay away from solids until
Sunday and slowly introduce them again
since her belly's sensitive right now.
Bottom line: I'm an fool and I feel bad
for hurting my baby.
Lessoned learned! I should have followed
my instincts that told me to never give
her a cereal bottle.
OH and I forgot to mention that she weighs
20 lb 8 oz and is 28 1/2 in. long.

wrong with her health wise. you're not an
fool, you said you were desperate. live
and learn, right?
it's funny how ava and finn are about the
same height and weight and he looks sooo
much chunkier.

What a great doctor to actually explain
things to you.
You are no fool! We all have done things
and will continue to do things that may
not be the best for our baby...yet
thinking at the time, it is the best. She
sounds like such a healthy little girl!!
