An Update

Things with new baby ethan are great.
We've had a lot of visitors and he's
absolutely adorable! He's 10 days old
today. Everyone loves him. I've been
getting a little more sleep than I had
been getting at first. The first 2
nights at home he cried and stayed fussy
most of the night, but the past couple of
days he's only been waking up one or two
times during the night. I'm sorry to say
that I think i'm starting to feel a little
bit of those "baby blues." it seems like
i'll never have time to get anything done
and I feel like i'm overwhelmed with
things to do and take care of. I'm also
sorry to say that since 2 days ago, i'm no
longer with ethan's father. There was a
lot of crap going on and I kept hearing
things about him flirting with girls at
his school. He wasn't really there for
me when I was in labor or through the
whole pregnancy for that matter. I just
got to a point where I got sick of it and
sick of the immaturity. All we really
did was fight...I believe it was because
of the huge maturity differences. I
think he could have helped out a lot more
than he did and I think he could have
taken things a ton more seriously. He
kinda expected to keep the same life
style. That's another reason we would
fight. When a baby comes into the
picture your life is never the same again
and you have a huge responsibility, and I
don't think he totally grasped that
concept. Ethan is great though. I love
him so much! He's the cutest baby ever!

Wow! What a lovely site.Ethan is
absolutely beautiful! I cant wait to be a
mom when I see such gorgeous babies!
I hope ethan's dad will still be there for
you too.I dont know all the details but
from what you say,it may be for the best
that you're not with him cos it seemed
like he made u upset.
It seems like you're doing great and
everyone im sure gets the blues a bit-you
have a new life to look after but it seems
like you're doing great.You have a
gorgeous little boy & I hope you have
tons of happy times together

Thanx, I hope the overwhelming feeling
goes away soon. It's actually quite
stressful. Especially when you're the
only one taking care of your baby. It
isn't like there's someone else I can say
"hey sweetie, why dont you change his
diaper this time...I'm a little too
tired."

Awwww now that is definetly a model baby
for gerber foods! Lol!!! I'm so sorry to
hear about u and the father but obviously
he hasnt grown up and its good to see ur
still doing ur thang and being with ur
baby! Hopefully the baby blues wont bring

Well, ethan is still doing great. I can't
say the same for myself though. I have
the flu...Again for the second time this
winter. It's horrible because i'm still
sore and trying to heal from the delivery
and now I get the flu on top of that. I
have a really horrible sore throat and an
upset stomach to go with it! Ehhh!

I'm starting to feel a little better now.
It turns out I actually had strep and the
flu like at the same time. My throat
hurts so bad! I have ulcers all down my
throat. Besides that and feeling like my
head is under water, I feel a little
better. Ethan hasn't gotten sick, he had
a little cold for a day or two I
think...But he's fine now.
