I am a 23 year old mother of 1 who has
been suffering from head pains for close
to 2 months now. It all started one night
while I was on the phone I had a really
intense sharp pain behind my right eye so
much so I fell to the ground. When I went
to the hospital they just gave me all
kinds of pain meds. Well after cat scan,
mri, blood work and several doc visits
nothing has been found. The pain is SO
intense and at times it feels like i'm
being electically shocked in my brain.
Then there's times where it feals as
though some one is squizing my brain to
the point where it literally feals like my
brain is being folded over like when you
kneed bread. After about 6 weeks with this
the feeling finally went away then one
week later after a night of fun (sorry I
just wanted to tell the whole story) It's
back. I was just wondering if anyone else
out there had these symptoms. I have been
on so many different pain meds and
migraine meds and nothing has worked. The
docs and my family just say they they are
headachs and to me they are so much
more... O and I have a slight slipped disk
in my neck but the docs swear that it
would have no effect on my head!

Welcome to ehealth!
You will get better responses if you post
a separate thread, so I split it from the
older post.
I'm sorry to see that you have had such a
problem finding help for this pain that
you have been experiencing. Have you seen
a neurologist for this problem? It sounds
very similar to a nerve problem that I
suffer from. The nerve starts at the base
of your skull then travels up the back of
your head, then feels all most as though
it goes straight through your head to your
eye(s). The doctors might want to consider
putting you on some nerve medication like
lyrica or something similar.
