Well Then...
Posted: 06-02-07 21:43pm

So, I went to the doctor about 20 days ago give or take for an infertility work up. I had just started bleeding that day and I bleed for one day. I was informed that I had pcos and hyperthyroidism that day. Pretty much told that I probably wouldn't conceive on my own.

I had a digital pregnancy test left (clearblue from where I missed my period for like three months) and I just decided to use it for the heck of it. Well, it said..................

I'm pregnant!!!
Now I don't know whether to be excited or worried because I had that early miscarriage before but I just wonder if I was pregnant when I went to the doctor and that I was having implantation bleeding. I don't know. What do you guys think? I never even got a positive digital when I had the miscarriage.

Ohhhhh......Yea!!! Thats so great!! Oh, I'm so happy! I knew it wouldn't take long.

Congratulations!!

So, roughly how far would you be? 'Cause, I'm kinda lost Embarassed

*edit to add- the reason you never got a positive on a digital is because they aren't very sensitive. They trigger a positive at about 100+ where the 'early' tests show positive at around 25+ (sometimes less). So, it is definitely a good sign!

Well if the day of bleeding was implantation bleeding then possibly 7 weeks tomorrow. That's what I would guess because I had a blood test not long before I went ov vacation.

Was there a reason you tested? Were you having symptoms or anything? or just a guess?

Honestly, I just wanted to use the test. I have no symptoms (except that I've been dizzy and having hot flashes but I attributed that to my thyroid). I just wanted to use my last test and get it out of the house. Oh, if I'm not seven weeks then I'm almost four weeks so one or the other.

That so awesome. That is honestly why I test so much. I know it's going to be a bfn...but you never know. It would be a great surprise if it just popped up a bfp.

I'm seriously, so happy for you. They will probably have to do a dating sonogram, but hey, thats not a bad thing, any chance to see your little one.

Have you told your dh yet?

I did...I sent him a message with the picture. He was at work and I just couldn't wait. I just hope this one sticks in there. You guys pray for me and I am going to try to take it easy.
I about passed out when I saw the words. I walked away from it for a minute and came back and my whole body went numb. I just don't know what to think right now. I am going to call my doc Monday though and see what he says.

I will definitely keep you and your little one in my prayers.

I truely hope that this one is it. I think you are right and should do your best to relax (as hard as that may be).
