Want to Stop Taking Bc Pill For a While Posted: 06-02-07 23:09pm
I mainly got Birth control a few months
ago for sex protection..well my BF broke
up with me a month ago so I don't really
need it. I continued to take it, I like
knowing when I'm gonna get my period, but
I still have trouble swallowing the
pills(dont ask) and I just don't need it
anymore. It will also save me $10 a month.
I might decided to take it again sometime
in my life, but not right now. I just want
to know if anything will happen when I
stop taking it? Thanks.

Your periods might be irregular for a
little while (a few months), but you
should be fine. Also, if the pills
decreased cramping, blood volume, length
of period, etc. it will likley go back to
the way it was before.
Talk to your doctor if you have concerns
or if your periods/cramping, become
unmanageable.
