If so, how ungodly painful was the
procedure?

I wouldn't know.
I was just wondering what other options
you've looked into before considering
permanent surgery?
Have you been to a doctor, or a urologist?
Have you tried ED drugs? Have you tried
herbal ED drugs (may take a few months to
kick in)? Have you tried therapy? Have you
tried diet and exercise and healthy
supplementation such as with Omega 3,
Multi-vit/min, probiotics, etc?
I'm sure you've tried some, but what...

I've had the problem for years, starting
when I was in great shape and very skinny,
and I'm heavier now. The change didn't
seem to make a difference as far as the ED
went.
I tried therapy, but it doesn't seem like
a mental issue. I stopped even getting
the involuntary morning erections that are
just to hold off urination.
I tried viagra, and it worked briefly, but
it was almost as if I developed an
immunity to it's effects after a short
while.
Tried a couple of 'herbal' type
treatments, but they didn't do a thing.

Ok, good to hear you've tried other
avenues.
Have you talked with doctors or urologists
about other treatments? Tried any other
drugs?
I also just wanted to note skinny and
strong is not healthy. A person can eat
Taco Bell for every meal and still be
skinny, and would be strong from simple
exercise. Healthy comes from eating the
right foods and avoiding the wrong ones.
Eating 9-12 servings of vegetables and
fruit everyday, mostly raw and mostly
organic (especially apples, strawberries,
cucumbers, celery, peaches, etc. as they
have high amounts of pesti/herbicides).
Low on grains, but the seeds, nuts, grains
you do eat should be soaked, sprouted, or
fermented. If you eat dairy, it should be
non-pasteurized and raw and organic. Meats
should be organic. Including fermented
foods is good, and/or probiotic
supplements. Also a natural
multi-vit/mineral, as well as an Omega 3
supplement. Avoid refined sugar, processed
flours, hydrogenated oils, and overall any
processed foods. Steaming vegetables is
the best way to cook them, and oils should
generally not be cooked with. Not that
oils are bad, but heating them is. Don't
overcook meat, or anything for that
matter.
To top it off add an exercise routine.
Including cardio as well as weight
training. Weight training isn't just for
muscles, it's for health and strong
bones.
Either way, I'm glad to hear you've looked
into and tried other methods. I'd try the
diet and exercise (especially if your
previous fitness wasn't the result of a
healthy diet) as it's known to cure all
sorts of uncurable diseases and conditions
and has specific relations to erections.
Maybe someone will come along and answer
your question from experience, but
unlikely. At least not many. Perhaps you
could find a forum or site more geared
towards the subject.
