Small Amount of Blood After Solid Excrement
Posted: 06-03-07 16:16pm

About a week ago I went to the toilet for a poo and when I wiped I noticed a about 2cm by 2cm of blood after the first wipe. The wipes after contained no sign of blood.

I was worried at first but decided to wait until I needed again to see if there was any more. There wasn't any more until today when again after the first wipe I noticed about the same amount of blood.

I looked in the toilet and the poo was pretty much normal apart from a small bit that was a little bit red.

I was just wondering why this could be happening and what I should do about it?

Thanks in advance.

Blood in the stool is a solid reason to visit the doctor.

Sounds like a hemmroid, which should go away on its own.
