eat! I know its hard but little tiny things throughout the day... Beat the sickness.. have crackers, a piece of toast, never go more then a few hours without snacking. Thats what helped me tremendously.

You should try to eat even if it's in bed. Just try something bland like crackers, or whatever you can eat. Even if it's just a little bit. When your blood sugar is low it makes the nausea worse. Try some ginger, like ginger candy or ginger tea or ginger ale. I drank flat ginger ale when I was sick and it really helped me. It might also help to have something around that smells fresh and clean, like peppermint, lavender or grapefruit spray (like aromatherapy oils or something) because that can help with nausea. Try lemon drops or mints or sour candy also. A high protien snack at night can keep your blood sugars stable for when you wake up and a snack with carbs in the morning can raise them so you don't feel so sick. Make sure you get enough rest and keep hydrated. If you aren't eating much try to take your prenatal vitamins anyway. If all else fails the doctor can prescribe something to keep you and baby from losing out on nutrients by not eating.

laying in bed and wallowing in your morning sickness probably isn't helping much. you should try to get up and go about your day the best you can.

i had absolutely horrible m/s with my first pregnancy, i actually lost 10 pounds. i still dragged myself to work, drank plenty of water, sucked on sour candies, and i felt better on those days than on the ones where i just sat around in bed.

good luck.

I am 34 weeks pregnant and still sick at least once 5 days out of 7. Its the worst!!! At 10 weeks i was admitted to hospital and put on a drip it was sooooo bad, im not as bad as that now but it is still pretty awful!! Although you might not feel like you want to, getting up, having a shower and eating some cereal often helps me a bit, sometimes it makes me worse but more often than not, does me the world of good! My doctor has always said she cant give me anything for it, but give it time, u may find it starts to ease off! Good luck
