i am 7 weeks pregnant and am experiencing
the same cramping that you described. It
is not as bad as period pains, but feels
very similar. I have not been to the
doctor and I was wondering myself that
same question. I am glad to know that
this is happening to others, so it does
not seem abnormal.
Ok I am 5 weeks pregnant also and Ive been
having cramps too.I havent been to the
doctor yet and I dont know if this is
normal, because I read alot of everyone
saying they experience "mild" cramps not
like there period. Well mine arent really
mild- Its feels like when im on my period
sometimes. Its not constantly though and I
show no other bad signs. I havent puked
and no bleeding. Just the cramping. Should
I be worried?

well this post is from a few years ago but
the cramping is normal.. making room for
the baby.. I didnt think I was pregnant
because I though i was having period
cramps.. If you experiance bleeding or
extream pain then contact a doctor..But
again, i would call my cramping when first
pregnant the same as period cramps.

Cramping Posted: 06-03-07 22:29pm
I had very bad cramping from about 5-20
weeks pregnancy and even had a few
epsoides of bleeding and had brown
spotting from weeks 7-14. On Jan 30th 2007
I gave birth to a perfectly healthy baby
girl. The pain could be coming from the
stretching of your uterus or in my case I
had gestational diabetes and didn't know
it. When I got my sugar level under
control the cramping stopped around week
28. Also, severe constipation can really
cause bad cramping. This was my third
pregnancy and in all three I had really
bad cramping that felt like a bad period
and all three kids came out perfectly
healthy and I never had a miscarriage.
Hope this can encourage some of you out
there, I know how frantic you feel when
your cramping and/or bleeding during
pregnancy, but I have a strong faith in
God and put it all in his hands and all my
kids arrived safely.
