They are pretty accurate if you test when
you are supposed to. The most common
reason for getting a false negative is
testing too soon.
There are many things other than pregnancy
that can cause a late period.
That's good that you're planning on going
to the doctor.

well, i can tell you from experience that
pregnancy tests are not at all accurate,
but only working on my experience, thats
my opionion.
i went to the store and bought two
pregnancy tests, came home, and took them
both. i followed all the directions to a
T, and negative was the response on both
tests. ive always had abnormal periods so
i didnt think too much of it until the
naseau started. went to the doc and found
out i was 3 months along!!!!
yea, go to the doc, they will know for
sure, dont bother wasting money on
pregnancy tests.

when you go to the dr he will run a blood
test bhcg & you will know within a day
or so if you are pregnant & it will
tell you how far along you are.I work for
an ob dr.

Hi unfortunately because you under age
your parents will & can find out the
results.when you go to the dr.explain to
him your dad does not know you are
sexually active ask your dad not to go in
with you when you see the dr. most dr's
will understand & let you know before
your parents if the test is negative no
harm.It may be time to tell your parent so
you can get on birth control also call or
go to your local health department &
see if you can be tested there without you
dad knowing.

You can look into Family Planning or
Planned Parenthood. They can test you,
give you a pap, and birth control all
without your parents finding out anything.
