Pain In My Right Quadrant Posted: 06-04-07 11:07am
Hello, I am hoping someone could give me
some insite. I have been suffering with
cronic pain in my upper right quadrant for
the past 6 weeks. The pain starts in my
back (where my right kidney is) then moves
under my right rib cage and sometimes
behind my right shoulder blade. I have
also been feeling VERY naucious and tired
since the pain started to the poin I have
lost about 15 pounds in a month in a half
leaving me at a weight of 120lbs at 5'2 in
height. I have had ct scans, ultrasounds,
xrays and hida scans of my abdomen and
everything keeps coming back fine!!!! I
met with a Gastro doctor last week and he
has ordered me to get a EUS and EGD and
take biopsies of my liver and look at my
gall bladder along with a lot of blood
work. Right now I am frustrated and ready
to find out what is causing soo much pain
so we can make it go away. Has anyone
else experienced these symptoms???????
Hopefully I will find something out after
my EUS and EGD tests.
Wish me luck
