Eyebrows Again Posted: 06-04-07 13:38pm
ok so, my eyebrows are getting really
gross lol i'm letting them grow out a
little so that i can get them waxed and
shaped and then fill it in with the eye
brow pencil.
i know you guys have told me how to use it
before, light strokes right... and then
powder? well i dont have powder at the
moment but i'll get some.
but anyway, theyre starting to really be
poofy and nasty, so i tried to fill it in
with the eybrow pencil (before getting
them waxed) and it looks terrible on me,
maybe im doing it wrong? it looks so fake!
what do i do aaaaah.

The pencil also should be nice and
sharpened and maybe try putting it in the
fridge for a while so it's not too soft.
It should also match your eyebrow colour.
Do it a little bit at a time, it's easier
to add more than to take it away. If
you're not that good at it you there is
also powdered eyebrow makeup that you
apply with a little stiff angled brush.
I've gotten pretty good at doing mine
because I have really sparse and fair
eyebrows. Oh well, I like painting.
Oh yeah, and you should try threading,
they can do it on shorter hairs so you
don't have to wait as long. It's really
cool. My mom just got hers done and they
look amazing.

I don't use powder or anything on my brows
so .I'm no help there, but if your brows
are poofy, you can coax them to stay down
by putting a little .rosebud .salve on
them, or even .vaseline. Don't worry too
much - it may suck right now but the end
result will be worth it!

thanks! i've heard you guys talking about
threading before but i've never heard of
it here, i have no idea who would do it, i
could call around! im so nervous to get
them waxed, i don't want them to be messed
up even more.
im going to tell them to shape them the
way they should be, even though there will
be bald spots and then i'll try to fill
them in. ill go buy a new eyebrow pencil
and some powder and go get them waxed,
hopefully today! i have a little over 3
weeks until i see tommy, i need to get
them done before that so i can get the
hang of what im doing and not look stupid
lol
btw, i tried taking pics of my eyebrows
but my cam sucks, i did take great ones of
bella tho!

That's one thing I wouldn't skimp on
pricewise. You can get away with cheaper
stuff on some kinds of makeup but with
eyebrow pencils I've noticed that if you
pay a little more you'll see a difference.
