Possible Misscarriage

I am 12 weeks prangnat and my midwifeys was telling me everything was fine until i started spotting for one day and it was for about 5 hours slight spotting thats was light pink and not a lot very little. She got a heartbeat and she said it was mines so she searched some more and couldnt find the babys heartbeat. So she asked for and ultrasound and when i got the ultrasound done i seen the baby and every thing but they said it was not a heartbeat and i was a little behind on the babys development. Then they say i may be having a miscarriage but i am not having no pains or bleeding bad which i should be. They told me that my pelvis is carved and i wondering if that has something to do with not hearing the heartbeat of my baby? They said i should have an DNC done but they are saying i MIGHT be having a miscarriage so should i go on and have the DNC or wait and get a second opinion? What do you think?

if you have any doubts then you should definitely get a second opinion.

however, the baby can stop growing inside you and your body won't always miscarry right away. i found out at 13 weeks that my baby had stopped growing at 8. it had been dead for 5 weeks and my body hadn't expelled it, i'd had no cramping or bleeding at all. i ended up having a d&c.

good luck. please feel free to pm me if you have any questions.

i'm going to move this to the miscarriage forum.
