50% Chance of Living....*tears* Posted: 02-27-04 10:37am
Hey guys!!
Wanted to send you an update about my
great-grandma. I told you guys yesterday
to pray for her but I didn’t tell you how
she has been and all that good stuff. I
haven’t really had the time. Trying to
catch up in school and stuff.
This is the whole story, I will try my
hardest not to leave everything out. My
great grandma who lives in the house
behind us left for orlando, fl last month.
She had never been down to see her son’s
house and he has lived there for like 4
years, so they (her other son and her)
decided to take a plane down for the week.
So she gets there and the first night she
goes out to eat. She starts to have
stomach pains and is hurting really bad.
They suggest that she go to the hospital
and get check out. Keep in mind this
woman is like 80 something.
She goes to the doctors and finds out that
she has a hornia that has forced her
stomach into her chest. They had to do
surgery to remove this hornia. In order
to clean her up they had to staple her
stomach to her abdoman wall.
Later she finds out that she has an
infection (i forget the name) caused by
not getting all of the nasty out when they
did surgery.
So they went on to have to do another
surgery to remove the infection.
After about a week and after she got off
as much of the breathing machine she was
released. Since her son in florida works
she went to say with my grandpa, and her
son in tennessee.
She gets to tennessee and is there a
couple of days when she begin to have
pains again. She goes to the hospital.
This one being a small one, 50 rooms, in
humbolt tennessee. She goes there and
finds out that she now has phemonia and
is not doing well.
Needless to say, today is 2-26-04 and she
is still in the hospital. She has an
infection in her blood lines, she doesn’t
talk, they have tried to receive a living
will and have started to obey by it, she
is on 100% oxygen, she has phemonia, a
yeast infection and this woman is like 80
years old.
Guys mostly all of my family is going down
there, I am starting to really freak out.
I am worried that everything isn’t going
to be ok and I have not had to dea; with
death in about 5 years. Why now in light
of all the good? Please pray for her…
loads of love, stacie

I know that god will do what he feels is
best, but that woman is everything to our
family. I mean what is going to happen
when she does go. I am in tears right
now. And I am stuck in school I dont know
what to do...
