Well, .I think my boy is soon done breastfeeding! I don't know if .I'm reading for him to be done or not! He is kinda just weaning himself. I noticed that the past few weeks he hasn't been eating as long as he normally had been and tonight he didn't want it at all before bedtime. He will be 11 months old on .Sunday and .I was planning on nursing until at least 12 months. I'm sad! I guess .I'll have to call the ped. tomorrow because aren't they supposed to have breastmilk or formula for the first year?

awww! I'm sorry this is so sad for you. I would call the ped, yes...but since he's so close to being a year old, I don't think they would have him put on formula only to be weaned off of it in a month to be put on cow's milk. I could be very wrong tho! But that's just what I would guess. they may just have you start him on cow's milk. Good luck with the weaning, and don't be too sad! Just think that you got to nurse him this long!
