She woke up about 9 times last night. I
slept from 4:30-5 and 6-8:30. I had to
call my mom to come watch her so I could
sleep from 8:45-10:00 because I couldn't
function. I haven't felt like this since
I had her. She's also putting up a big
fight to nap the last two days. Just now
I put her down asleep twice after fighting
and screaming and she woke up right away.
Usually she stays down for at least an
hour, lately it's been almost 2 hours.
I'm going insane. Last night We did her
bedtime routine and I even laid in bed
with her and read books and talked to her
quietly while the lights were almost out
it was so dim and the noise machine was
on. We did this for over an hour. I was
trying to make sure she was calm enough to
go to sleep so I wasn't wasting my time
and she fought me to the bitter end. At
one point she was dry, fed, and I gave her
tylenol in case it's her teeth and I put
her in her crib and I left crying. I was
sooo close to letting her cry it out, but
Jesse reminded me why we choose not to do
that, so I let her play in the dark and
went in when she got fussy and I put her
to sleep finally.

Oni's been doing the same thing girl. But,
she's cutting her molars. SHe's got 3 of
the 1st 4 molars. It's insane.
I don't do the cry it out method. I choose
the .ferber .method. SHe cries and I go in
every 2/3 minutes to remind her(with no
physical contact) that I'm *still* here.
And tell her to lay down.
I've been having to enforce it for her
naps too. I start to get frustrated. Then
I remember why it is she's crying. Her
teeth are killing her!!!!
I know how frazzled it can leave you.
Baron opts to put her in the bed, but I'm
100% against that. So, I find myself half
dead trying to get her to go back to
sleep.
I hope all her teeth come in before this
baby comes!!!!!

It has to be Ava's teeth. I wonder how
long we'll go through this before the'll
finally come out. Tylenol and oragel
doesn't work! I was going to check on her
periodically like you mentioned to me a
while back. I know what would happen,
she'd fuss, then I'd go in and she'd
laugh, then she'd get pissed and start
gnawing on the side of the crib.

at least you don't have to deal with this
and get up for work in the morning.
