i woke up one morning, in my 14th week, crawled out of bed, walked into the bathroom, & nearly fell over when i looked in the mirror. my baby belly literally came out of nowhere. it was like i had a major abdominal growth spurt overnight.

everybody noticed it that same morning, too. i remember sitting at the kitchen table laughing & joking about it's sudden appearance with family.

now, i'm almost 20-wk's & lots bigger. my belly button is flat, and should be popping out any day now. it's funny looking. a bit creepy, too.

i love my baby belly, my bump. but as the weeks pass, it's beginning to hurt. all the stretching & whatnot. i'm lucky so far as to have no stretch marks. i'm sure they'll appear out of nowhere, too. but it's exciting.

good luck.

Has your size changed at all...
I honestly can tell you my clothes are snug at the waste, they still fit and everything, and the legs and bum fit exact same, but im having a bit of trouble doing up buttons...what's that about?

I am having problems with my buttons as well due to some major bloating. What sucks is that I just bought new work clothes for my new job and now I have to buy maternity ones.

I was bloated right away and had to wear stretch pants at 7 weeks, at 12 weeks you could tell I was pregnant, by 14 weeks it was very obvious. I had a big baby and my mom starting showing early. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. When I get pregnant again I'll be showing the day I conceive. Looking at my belly I already look about 4 months even though I lost almost all of my weight. Things just don't look the same after a baby.

Both our families and a few close friends. But of course the rumours are starting to go around.

Well i cant wear my jeans any more....its too uncomfortable. I think there is a slight change but nothing a jumper cant cover up.

I'm pretty much living in trackie pants. I'm sort of in the predictament that your in as well. If i have to go down the street i have a few pairs of hipster dress pants so i wear them sometimes.

Keep the stories coming ladies.

I'm in my 11th week, with baby #2, and can still wear my jeans.

It's not comfy, and they make my belly look jiggly. blah. So, I've started wearing sweats.

I can't suck my fat in as well anymore and thought it was because I was bloated. But nope, it's because I'm almost in my 4th month! Shocked

Baby Andy- I do have a suggestion. Get a bella band. Any maternity store usually has some form of this product. It's a stretchy piece of material that goes around your stomach (all the way around) and allows you to leave your pants unbuttoned and even unzipped if you want.
