I started freaking myself out about
pregnancy and I think I may have scared my
body into thinking that I really am. Last
time I had any sexual contact (not even
sex) was late April. I have gotten my
period since then it wasnt spotting
either..it was a little irregular but it
could be cause im so stressed out over
getting a job, and not getting enough
sleep and family issues. I had no preg.
symptoms other than nausea caused by my
GERD I took 2 preg. tests a week or so
after my period ended and both came up
with a clear neg. It seemed like the more
i looked at the symtpoms of pregnancy the
more i related them to me..to the point
where I got constipation and frequent
urination. I went to my reg. doctor and
she pressed on my stomach and said she
felt nothing but a uterus. Should I trust
this?. They took a urine sample and said
that I dont have a UTI and im so baffled
on why im going to the bathroom so much.
The constipation is gone. and now the
only thing i have is frequent urination.
I'm just so confused and im worried. It
seems like I pee alot more when im home
then when im at work as well. I dont know
what to do can someone please help me?

Peeing a lot is a symptom of things other
than pregnancy, so there is no reason to
assume it is pregnancy. You can never
rely on symptoms when you are wondering if
you are pregnant.
Peeing a lot is also a symptom of uti,
which it sounds like you were already
checked for, and diabetes. Soda ,
alcohol, caffeine, and some medications
can also make people pee a lot more than
usual. It can also be a sign of
inflammation of the bladder. Since
inflammation of the bladder can be
difficult to diagnose, your best bet might
be to go to a urologist.

You are definitely not pregnant. Although
since you said that you were relating
pregnancy symptoms to yourself, perhaps
you are imagining the peeing thing? Don't
be offended, I'm not trying to say you are
paranoid or anything, but if you are
peeing a lot more at home than at work
maybe it's because you are sitting at home
thinking and worrying about being
pregnant? And if you don't have any other
symptoms like pain or burning when you
pee, there is nothing like that to worry
about. Perhaps it is a diet change that
you haven't realized that you had, like
drinking more caffeine or something, or
perhaps you are diabetic or something. But
not pregnant. I would go to a urologist if
it doesn't go away.

Just wanted to add- when I was 18 I got so
paranoid about pregnancy that I was
convinced that my stomach was growing and
I was a few months pregnant even though I
still got my period.
