My wife is still not feeling hungry after just completion of three month of pregnancy and doesn't eat well. She eat only in very small amount and only 4-5 times in a day and now she is very weak.If she eat more , she vomits. She has been taking Doxinate tablet, but it doesn't help.I want to know that do anyone of you also don't feel hungry at all? My wife also doesn't drink enough water (she only able to take 3-4 glass per day).I am very worried since doctor is not taking it seriously.

I'm sure if the doc were concerned for her and the baby's health he/she would do something. Lots of women feel ucky during the first couple of months and only eat to get by and everything works out great. When she is able to eat, make sure what she eats is nutritious and make sure she takes her prenatal vitamins every day. Mine made me sick to my stomach, so .I took them at night or mid morning, or a couple of hours after breakfast.

I hope everything works out for her.

Hi upashu

I have heard that some women can become so nauseous in the first trimester and don't eat much, some may even lose weight in the first 3 months of pregnancy. Usually the second trimester is better, usually a woman is not nauseous and as tired in the second trimester.

I agree with Mommy 35, I'm sure if the doctor was concerned, he/she would do something.

Hopefully your wife picks up and enjoys the second trimester, and the rest of her pregnancy, as it is such an amazing journey for a woman to take. Fingers x'd for you.

I was very sick in the first trimester of pregnancy. I think I lost about 5 pounds. I was even sick a few weeks into the second trimester. I started feeling much better around the 18th week. I am now almost 30 weeks and have gained about 20 pounds. Since her doctor doesn't seem to concerned, I wouldn't worry about it. If you are still worried, bring it up at her next appointment. Maybe then the doctor will be able to ease your concerns.
