Well, we are really hoping for twins, so we would be really happy.

MC- it is supposed to double every 48 hours but mine did a little over tripling. I really hope it is twins. I guess I will find out in three weeks though so we will see.

Hooray for you! I'm so excited your numbers are going up.

I'm going to interject with a hug .B.U.T here... Hcg numbers are NOT reliable in determining twins. These numbers basically tell whether the pg is healthy and progressing the way it should. They can "point" to twins, but since the numbers vary vastly from lady to lady and there is lots of crossover between singleton and twin numbers you can't go by that alone. It also depends on which chart you use, some go by dpo, others weeks and still others months...these also vary vastly. It is mostly used as a diagnostic tool that can determine if more testing is need....ie an u/s.

You were taking clomid though, right? That ups your chance of twins. Good luck at your ultrasound!!!

MG - Do twins run in your family? I hope you do get to see two little beans. I think it would be wonderful to have twins. They would always have a friend to play with their own age.

I am so excited that your beta is doubling so fast!

It's amazing with that surge of hormones that you aren't puking all the time. I guess you are one of the lucky ones!

Congratulations again!

I know it's can't predict. I'm just hoping. And, I actually never got to start the clomid. I am supposed to go to the endocrinologist to let him straighten out my thyroid and then I was going to start clomid so this was a total surprise.

Jae-Thanks girl! I will pm you!

Musik-I've been a little sick but it's not been too bad yet. I'm afraid that it's gonna get worse though.
