last night so krissy and chris took him to
the er! hes fine, hes just got an ear
infection, but they were in the er for
like three hours last night and they had
to take blood and couldn't find his veins
and he was screaming she said so yeah.. send

Aww, .krissy I'm sorry you guys had to go
thru that. it's the worst when they try to
get blood from a little one and they don't
get it on the first try! I hope he's
feeling better soon, give him lots of
kisses from .adriana and I!

poor baby! at least he's getting taken
care of.I'm glad they brought him there
but I would hate to see him get poked so
many times!

yeah he's alright. he had a rectal temp of
101.9 all day. he's still got a fever. but
he's feeling a little better. he's on
amoxicillin for his ear infection. it was
awful. the poor little man.

at least it was only 3 hours though, last
weekend valkyrie and i were in the er from
10 pm until they decided to admit her at
almost noon
it does suck when they have to run tests
though, valkyrie had to have a catheder to
get urine then blood drawn (which took 3
pokes) then a spinal tap (which took 2
pokes) i had to ask my mum to stay with
her cause i couldnt be there when they
were doing that to my little girl, its
really hard to get those baby veins and
even harder cause they dont know to stay
still
i dont want to worry you, but watch out
for thrush, he could get it easily from
the antibiotics
aww poor gabe, hopefully he gets better
soon and doesnt get any more ear
infections ever, joseph got one at 8 mths
old when he had rotavirus, i hate them
being poked, i left when they hooked the
IV up to joseph i couldnt watch, then they
saidhe kept pulling it out so they had to
end up wrapping gauze around it so he
wouldnt mess with it. shots i can do but
drawing blood and IVs i dont wanna watch
the poor lil kids. was it a bad ear
infection or minor? im sure a minor one
isnt as bad, they said joseph ha da minor
one they gave us omnicef for him though, i
figured they gave that to all kids .

hey guys, just a little update. gabe's
feeling better. i think he may still have
a tiny fever, but nothing compared to what
it was the past few days. his whole body
was on fire, before. but yes. the .e.r
experience wasn't too fun. he had to get
poked 3 times 'cause they couldn't find
his veins, & it was so horrible to
watch. he was screaming & writhing
around. chris was getting so pissed off. i
cried, he cried, it was so sad. but he's
had a slight problem keeping his meds
down. but we tried giving them to him on
an empty stomach & he kept it down,
then.. so that's what we're doing from now
on. hopefully we don't have another .e.r
trip for a long time. i don't like it!
