I have just found out that I have herpes... I never knew bout it and my doctor looked over it... First he said I had warts... And now 2 days later or so I find out I have herpes Confused ... I have never had this before and I am well I guess you could say scared... My doctor never gave me much information at all... He never gave me a pamphlet or anything to read.. I left his office... Worried scared.. And confused Confused ...I am lost with no information really... I mean I looked at a few things online... But they have not really helped me out...

I am a single mother... I do have a boyfriend and I informed him right away when I found out... We talked tonight... The things that seems kinds weird to both of us is that... Well he has never had it before... I have never seen a sore on him... And I myself have never had it before... But all of a sudden I do...

I mean I am sitting here wondering... When will they go away... When will the pain stop hurting... It feels like they are burning all the time... And if I move the wrong way it hurts alot... I have them down below around the buttox area... And as my doctor says he thinks a few round the anus Question ...I have no clue how I would have gotten them there...

I would really like some help and information please... At times it feels alright and then there are times when the pain starts up... I don't know what to do... Help please Confused Exclamation

I am sorry that you are having to deal with this right now. The first question I would ask is are you sexually active with your buyfriend. If you are and you have not had any partners since hiim he could have given them to you. Whether he knew he had them or not. He does not need to have an outbreak to transfer them to you. Unprotected sex could transfer the virus. Even protected sex can still transmit herpes. They can be on the mouth or legs. Usually you will have an outbreak of herpes after two weeks. How long have you been dating and how long did it take for you to acquire this since you had sex. I am not saying that your boyfriend for sure gave them to you. Did you have any other recent partners? You having herpes now puts your boyfriend at risk of getting them if he does not have them. I recommend getting on the inernet and looking up herepes and reading about it so that you can better understand how to take care of yourself. Good luck.

Thank-you so much for getting back to me...

Times like thisare just things that you have no idea what in the world to do... Well after I did post this and I was still in the state of being confused and not knowing why my doctor did not give me ny information... I did end up goin down to a women's clinic to speak with them and see if there was some information I could get from them... From what the doctor had noticed and did a couple of test to see if it was herpes or not... As far as I know the tests came back negiative... Because as she sid they looked just like warts... And were all the pain was commin from was do to the fact that I had a serious bladder infection... Which I ended up in the hospital to get a cathadar...(not sure on the spelling of that)... The doctor was very upset to see that my family doctor would just push me out of the office with no treatment or information on it at all... Which I can honestly say that doctor is no longer my doctor... If he can do that to me then what will he do to my children Confused ... To answer your questions yes I have been sexually active with my boyfriend... And since then he has gone to the doctor to get checked himself...When it happened we wer together for bout 2-3 months.. But was only sexually active for bout a week or so... Before my boyfriend I was not with anyone else... Well it ws bout a year or so before I met my boyfriend... I went a year without any sex at all... Every since then I have not had any type of out breaks... And once I was given the cream for warts to use... They cleared up no problem... I also found out that I was given the wrong cream to use... Gotta love those docotors Rolling Eyes... My family docotor then is no longer my family doctor now...

Since my last post I have become prgnant... I am now 3 months and bout 1 week now... The baby is due in december... But I do want to thank-you for gettin back to me... It is nice to know ther are ppl out there that we can talk too...
