Any time you do not know what your doctor
is talking about, feel free to ask her to
explain it.
Your results are saying that your pap
smear was abnormal. Your doctor wants to
take a closer look to see if you might
have endometrial cancer. Usually paps
check for cervical cancer, but sometimes
they can show a doctor that a person might
have endometrial cancer. That would
cancer in your uterus as opposed to your
cervix. It's not a sure thing though,
which is why you need to go back in. The
biopsy will tell the doctor more about it
than the pap did.
