Medical Marijuana Debate Posted: 06-12-07 06:35am
"Should marijuana become a legal medical
option?"
Do you think that patients should be
allowed access to THC as a pain reliever?
Many believe that marijuana can help ease
the symptoms of painful and/or chronic
conditions or treatment such as AIDS,
Alzheimer's, Arthritis, Asthma / Breathing
Disorders, Chemotherapy, Crohn's,
Gastrointestinal Disorders, Epilepsy /
Seizures, Glaucoma, Hepatitis C,
Migraines, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscle
Spasms, Pain, Analgesia, Psychological
Conditions, and Tourette's Syndrome.
Others claim that marijuana is a gateway
drug that will lead to abuse of narcotics
and want to see the substance
criminalized. The opponents of the medical
use of marijuana state that the risks of
medical marijuana include drug addiction,
cancer, brain damage, decreased
reproductive ability, and possible death.

If can heal people why not? But I used to
smoke it, just for the hell of it. But it
gave me panic attacks. So I don't touch
the stuff any more

whn i had really bad migraines it seemed
like nothing would make them better. i
couldnt eat, i was missing school all the
time and i was basically just miserable
for months at a time.
my mom was sereoulsy looking into medical
marijuana for me. she even talked to my
dr. my brother had always told me that if
i smoked a joint id feel better. lol
i didnt take that option cuz ive always
been against drugs and still am.
my migraines have mostly cleared now tho
thank god!
to answer ur question, i think if i helps
people and they dont take advantage of it,
why not?

My opinion is whatever works. Living in
pain is horrible. If you can find relief
in marijuana then it should be an option.
I don't smoke it but I do know of people
that have gotten lots of relief from
chronic pain with it.
