Warning: This is a vent ....

i am 7 weeks pregnant and i feel like i have lost my self to the hormones. I snip at my DH, i am so awfuly tired and hungry. All i want to do is rest when i get home, but as usual i need to make dinner. I don't feel like i know who this person is anymore. I don't want to be touched by anyone, DH and i have not even made love since we found out. I have cramps, back pain none of which are bad or constant but they just seem to add to my bad mood. I don't feel happy.... is there something wrong with me or is this all normal and will pass?!

It's very normal. I don't remember being all that moody that early on, but I was very tired. As far as meals, if he can cook, ask him to. If he can't cook, maybe start putting something in the crock pot in the morning, or on the weekends cook some stuff and freeze it, so all you have to do is thaw something.

It does get a little better.

Good luck to you

For every blessing there comes a pinch of hell.
It seems like you need a day away from everything. I had crazy mood swings when I was preggers you would have thought I was bi-polar. I think it even showed when I came on the forum during those times. LOL. . . In most it passes, those hormones can be a pain though on you and the people around you. I'm sure they know it's something you can't control.
Maybe DH can understand and take ahold of the weel for a few days so you can refresh and get back on track.
Get some friends and go out to a spa or to lunch and just vent or just go walk around and be alone.
You're 7 weeks so it's still possible for you to move around like a normal person. LOL
I hope it all works out and you get to feeling better.
Just remeber we're here to talk if you need anything.

You could try being a couch cook. My boyfriend is willing to help me cook if I tell him what to do and keep my patience with how he does it. He can cook a little but he lived on hot dogs and cereal before he met me. I just tell him what to do while I sit on the couch and he does it. He's slow but sometimes I just can't stand in the kitchen chopping and cooking because my feet hurt and my ankles are swollen. Just tell him that you are experiencing something he can't see on the outside yet but it is very profoundly affecting how you feel on the inside. get some pregnancy books and show him which chapters to read. He's a man and he may not get the whole hormone thing yet but believe me if he's ever gonna learn about it now would be a good time.

thanks kaerbear that is a pretty good idea. The book thing will not work.. he refuses to read them. even if I mark the chapter. He said he does not need to read them. . Perhaps in a few weeks the story will be different
