Weight Gain
Posted: 06-12-07 17:16pm

I am currently 16 weeks pregnant and seen my doctor today for my 2nd prenatal appointment. I got to hear the baby's heart beat and heard he/she moving around. I thought it was great....BUT...I was weighed before I seen my doctor and weigh 152lbs the same as I did 4 weeks ago, I havent gained a pound...is this normal or is there something wrong with my baby?

Nothing is wrong. Most women don't start gaining weight until the second half of pregnancy. If you aren't losing weight, everything is fine Smile

Yes I also agree. If the doctor is not concerned don't worry yourself about it. I'm sure everything is fine.

HI! Like the other girl's said...nothing to worry about as long as doctor feels you and baby are healthy!!! Trust me, the weight gain will come - just make sure you eat lots of small snacks / meals throughout the day and eat healthy!!!!!! Congrats Smile
