Well here is my 29 week piccies i'm 29
weeks and 2 days but these were taken on
monday when i was 29 weeks, i have started
my maternity leave aswell because i
have'nt been feeling good lately and i've
been in to the hospital twice in one week
so i decided it's time to rest. I have to
go to the hospital tomorrow and have a
glucose test which is great 'cause i hate
blood tests! i have only just had them
last week for my 28 week check up and she
bruised my arm 'cause she could'nt get any
out she managed a bit but said i might
have to come back, then i got a phone call
on monday from the doctors and they tested
my blood and found i'm anemic so now i'm
on iron tablets. Any way here are my
pics.............

I know! I'm the same way! As soon as I
wake up I am ravenous for breakfast,
nevermind the fact that I had a 3 am
snack! You poor thing that's terrible. for
some reason my glucose test was different.
they gave me an orange drink to have 1
hour before my appointment and then they
drew my blood.

Cute belly girl!!!! Make sure you bring
something to eat with you for right after
you are done your glucose test. I had mine
last week, and after drinking that orange
sweet drink, I felt like crap. The girl
beside me got dizzy and had to lay down. I
felt much better once I left though and
was able to eat something.
Good luck and enjoy your time off now!!!!
I'm jealous....my last day of work isn't
until Aug.10th!!!!

Hey girl....yeah, that orange drink is not
all that bad gong down, but then all of a
sudden, it makes you feel crappy. I
haven't heard about my results yet, but I
finally get to go and see my Obgyn for the
1st time on Monday, so I'm sure he will
let me know the results. I am hopin gthat
they are ok, b/c I am a candy loving
freak!!!!! I know...bad bad me!
My due date is Sept.8th......tech told me
that I am probably about a week to a week
and a half early based on my last u/s
measurements, but they didn't change my
due date.
I have a strange feeling that baby will
come the last week in August?!
How are you feeling these days?

Ohh, everything ok? Why did you have to go
to the hospital?
I actually had to go just a few weeks ago
b/c I thought I had food poisoning. I woke
up around 4am the morning before we had to
fly out for our trip to NYC (great timing
huh?!) and I was throwing up and had
baaaad diarrhea - I felt horrible. So
after 4 hours of dealing with it, hubby
took me to the hospital and they hooked me
up to every machine possible, took blood
and gave me an IV. I think it turns out
that I just got a bad 24hr flu bug b/c by
the enxt afternoon, I felt a thousand
times better!!!!!!
Other than that, I am doing ok. Not too
tired anymore or sick feeling - just
starting to get uncomfortable. Can't bend
down to tie my shoes - it hurts too much
and work is getting pretty tough......you
know, all the usual complaints that we all
have around this point!!!! The one thing
that puts me off is sitting and feeling
really uncomfy b/c of my fat on the sides
on my belly!!!! LOL - it drives me crazy!
I hear you about baby coming early, I
think I'll go around 37-38 weeks, although
they say that with your first, most women
usually deliver past thier due date?!
I hope you feel better soon - only 10 1/2
& 12 more weeks for us if we go full
term!!!!!!

Jae - Glad to hear your ok. I went to
hospital the first time 'cause i could'nt
feel her move as much so they told me to
go in and everything was fine, then a week
after i was having tummy pains and i
could'nt sleep so went back up the
hospital and was hooked up to a machine to
listern to her heartbeat and monitor the
pain for half an hour and they said that
when you get a cramp in your leg that's
what i had in my tummy I even had an
examination to see if my womb had opened
and everything was fine but my bubba is in
a breech position so hopefully she will
turn round.

Aghhh, no fun going to the hospital is it?
Well, I'm glad to hear that all was ok. I
hear you about geting scared when baby
doesn't move for a while. My little one
has about 4 very distinct waking /
sleeping times, so when I don't feel
him/her move for a bit, or if I don't get
many kicks in a day, I get worried. I've
realized though that some days the baby
doesn't move around all that much....is
this normal? I know that as baby gets
bigger, the amount of room gets tighter,
but with me only being 28 weeks, I know
baby still has room to flip around
inside!
I hope your baby will flip for you soon!
Mine still lies sideways across my tummy
and then flips and will be head down some
days. Last time I was at the doctor's s/he
was head down. I am going tomorrow as well
for my 1st OBGYN app't, so I am interested
to find out what position baby is in now.
Sometimes I can feel it, sometimes I can't
tell!
Have you bught much for baby yet? I have
most of the stuff I need, except the items
I am going to put on my registry for my
shower, but I am setting up baby's room
this week! I hope it turns out the way I
have it pictured in my head?!!!!!!

Hmmm, I think I have most of it, except
things like more diapers, creams and
washes for baby, wipes, etc...... I also
need a play gym mat, high chair (although
that can wait), exersaucer, diaper pail,
and a play pen for when I visit my Mom
(she lives in a different city than I
do).....all things I will put on my
registry.
I still have to buy myself a breast pump
(yikes!) and the rocker / ottoman that I
want for the room!!!!!!! I think it should
turn out pretty good - or at least I hope
so!!!!! I bought a beautiful crib and
bedding set though, so I am excited to see
it put all together!!!! I will have to
post some pic's once it's all done at the
end of this week!!!
