Am I Pregnant Or Is This Something Else .. im Confused !! Posted: 06-13-07 14:05pm
I think I may be pregnant, but then again
i could just be having really bad pms.
Idk, I need someone to help me figure this
out..
My period has a 32 day range, not 28.
On the 11th of May I had sex, little did I
know until after that that was one of my
fertility days...(woops)
9 days after i had sex on the 20th i began
my "period" which is funny because if it
was my period then it was 8 days earlier
than it should have been.
If the 20th had been implantation bleeding
and not my period that would make me about
3 weeks pregnant wouldn't it?
Yesterday evening i got a pain in the
lower left side of my abdomen, it was
basically just a dull pain but it was
still quite a bother.
Lately I have been so irritable, I had
lower back bain..(really bad), ive also
had headaches and heartburn, and ive been
so tired, even though ive had alot of
sleep lately.
I am very emotional and i feel fat and
bloated and a little depressed
>(sometimes), but not right now im very
happy.
My stomach has been slightly cramping and
my upper thighs as well and overall my
body feels worn out. and ive been slightly
dizzy a couple times.Ive also noticed that
i have an elevated body tempature of 99.0,
consistently and ive been feeling hot
lately, and its making me sweat more than
usual especially at night, but maybe thats
because the a/c is not on at night.idk.
and ive been having craving for things
that i dont usual care for, and thats made
my appetite increase and today i dont
really have much of an appetite at all,
its really quite odd. also it doesnt
happen everyday but twice(not in a row)
ive been walking around in the morning and
then suddenly ill have like this surge of
nasuea and i just want to puke i feel so
bad but it goes away after a couple of
minutes..
so theres my situation am i jut having pms
or is there a strong chance i might be
pregnant??

have you tested? from reading that i
gathered that you're over 2 weeks late,
right? a test will be accurate now, you
can take one any time of the day.
if you are pregnant you start counting
from the first day of your last period.
i'm guessing that would have been around
april 26th, which would make you about 7
weeks.
i'd test if i were you. to me all signs
point to pregnancy.

Yes, actually i had my period on the 27th
of April
but on the 20th of May i had my "period",
it was 9 days after i had sex and 8 days
earlier than a usual period, so i think it
may have been implantaion bleeding.
if it was not and it was my period then i
havent skipped one yet bc my next period
should be next week on about the 21st, so
no im not late yet, at least i dont think
i am.
That confuses me, if i am pregnant how
could it be 7weeks? i had sex about 33
days ago, thats only 4 weeks and 5 days.
but i wouldnt could from my day of sex
would i?
i would count from the day of implanation
bleeding right?
but if i counted from the day of what
could have been implantation bleeding i
would be 3weeks and 3 days right?

well, if the bleeding you had wasn't like
your normal period then you could still
test. if that was implantation bleeding, a
test will still be accurate. i'm not
familiar with implantation bleeding so i
don't know if it's spotting or like a
light period or what.
to count how far along you are you start
at the first day of your last period,
which would put you at 6 weeks 5 days (i
think). it's confusing but that's just how
it's done.
you can test 2 weeks after you've had sex.
i'd want to know so i'd be testing asap.

Also, if you are taking a home pregnancy
urine test, take it during the morning..
like right after you get out of bed.
It should be most accurate at that time :]

implantion bleeding is like spotting abi,
its there when you whipe.. it can be
brownish in color or a light pink.. u may
find some bloood in your underwear too but
its not going to be anything like a normal
period

take the clear blue test and they come in
2 in a box
i took those and they are so easy to read
and you can take them anytime during
pregnancy!

I'm in the same sort of boat, except that
its almost definite that i am pregnant.
these are my symptoms. I never ever get
mood swings, but lately i have had them. I
just about flattened my flat mate after he
took some cheese off me because i was
munching out on it right before dinner, my
partner had to drag me away because i was
trying to beat him up, also i have been
going from happy to crying in a split
second, and when asked why I'm crying i
cry harder because i don't know why I'm
crying to begin with. My breasts are sore
and the nipples really really swollen and
tender. I haven't had a period in over a
month, but i don't usually get one every
month anyway. My appetite has gone
spastic, one day ill be so hungry ill
empty the cupboards, fridge and freezer
and still be hungry, but the next day ill
eat next to nothing. My person is swollen
and its irritating to go toilet but not so
much sore. My stomach is harder than
normal, and I've had quite bad abdominal
cramps. My back is constantly sore, the
only time it isn't is when i sleep. I am
constantly queasy, but haven't yet thrown
up-although been very very close. I
constantly want foods i normally hate and
don't like foods i normally love. Also
I've been going to the bathroom what feels
like every five mins. I'm constantly worn
out even when i go to bed very early, and
i get the occasional dizzy spell. I've had
some light bleeding-basically spotting
which only lasted 12 hours.
I went to the drs in the afternoon and did
a test but it came back negative, but all
the symptoms point to pregnancy. Is there
any point in doing another, and how do i
know how far along i am when my period is
like usually mental, and i might get it
once every 2 months if I'm lucky?
