Ok so It's been a year since I had Casey and I just recently started back with a normal period, but I also got the depo shot after he was born so I already knew it took a while to get back on track.
At first I thought this was cause I was bleeding all the time but since I've stopped I still have a problem with a foul odor.
I went to the doctor because I was told it could have been an infection and My Doc. said she couldn't diagnos anything.
My disscharge is very heavy. Like there are sometimes it feels like i've started my period or something.
I'm ok with wearing pantliners it's just the smell. . . Confused
I don't know what to do. . . . . Sad
HELP. . . or if anyone has had this problem ?!?!?!?!

i haven't had that problem so i don't know what it could be.

but why did your doctor say she couldn't diagnose anything? do you mean she didn't find anything wrong?

I read up on it some and there are a few things that say it can be caused from my cervical cancer, but Jezzz. . . It dosen't say how to get rid of it. There are also list of prescription antibiotics but my doctor won't give them to me unless she feels i need them.
I'm thinking about getting a second opinoin.
I feel so self concious now. . it's a horrid feeling.

how long have you had the odor? i'd be self conscious too.

there must be some sort of bath you could try, i don't know what though. baking soda maybe? seriously i don't know, i'm just trying to come up with something to help.

have you tried those feminine wipe things? it wouldn't fix it but it might mask it a bit.

i'm sorry, i'm trying to help because i know i'd feel uncomfortable too if it were me. i just can't really think of anything though. hopefully someone else will have something to say.

If you have had your regular pap smears you can rule out cervical cancer.

If your doctor did a regular work up on you, she would have found what your problem was.

I don't know if you know this, but what you eat has an affect on the way you smell down there. Fruits and juice drinks will sweeten the smell (and taste) while meat and coffee will cause a different taste and smell.

If it smells fishy, it is more than likely bacterial vaginosis. Which your doctor would have picked up on right away.

A bread smell would be a yeast infection.

I think she was already diagnosed with and treated for cervical cancer. Please correct me if I'm wrong, though.

Just an update so far so good the cancerous tissues haven't returned. . **keeps fingers crossed**
Umm I made an appointment to a new OBGYN for next week.
So we will see what happens.
A lady at my job said the same thing happened to her after she had her last son and she reffered me to her doctor.
Thanks abunch you guys. I will let you all know what she says.
