Well I have a severe nut allergy that has
only been dicovered in about the last
year! I have had several anayphalatic
shocks over things that say - produced in
a factory that uses nuts in the building.
I was just wondering if there were any
brands or foods that people with nut
allergies can eat or advice on what people
with nut allergy suffers eat at places
like takeaways meals ?

you have to tell them not to put nuts in
your food!!!

Read labels, and DON't eat out. If you
simply say 'don't put nuts in my food',
that isn't going to help. Alot of sauces
and seasonings have peanut butter or
peanut oil in them for flavor or even as a
thickening agent. Nut allergy is easy if
you read labels, everytime, and stay away
from restaurants (for the most part).
There are restaurants out there that can
accomodate your allergy- I would call
first. Google 'anaphalaxis network' and
look it up. They have tips for your
situation. Also, research peanut
ingredient names, it is not always peanut
or nut based names. Keep 2 epi-pens with
you at all times and research! That is
your best tool.

Actually I also have very sever nut
allergies. I went to canada with my family
and they are very cool about allergies
they sell a candy called Mars Bars that
are like twix except on the front of it
there is a peanut with a red cross through
it I order them and Kitkats from canada
where all that nonsense about may contain
and processed is not done. Just go to any
supermarket store like walmart.ca or
something and order some candy its great
