Progesterone Levels
Posted: 06-15-07 23:59pm

Hi, I am new here, I have been blessed with a pregnancy after a rocky road of infertility.

the good news is my beta went from 2,000 to over 23, 000 but my progesterone dropped from 28 to 18 in one week. Is this normal? My ob is not putting me on supplements, but everything i read on the internet says a drop is a sign of impending miscarriage.

has anyone else experienced a fluctuation like this?

I don't about this, but I am sure someone will be able to help you here.
You're in my prayers though and thoughts. I hope you find out what you need.
Welcome also and Congrats on your pregnancy.

Congratulations on the pregnancy! How far along are you?

Your levels can fluctuate throughout your first trimester. However, your doctor should be keeping an eye on this. As long as he is aware, he will know when he needs to put you on supplements (if at all). Try not to worry, (I know, easier said than done). Just sit back and try to relax and enjoy your pregnancy!
