Stacy, where is the fluid that they've
found? is it in the center of the brain,
or on the top layer?

Yes, Sarah. that is the lay term for
it. |
k. I knew the med term sounded familiar. I
just wasn't completely sure.
I hope that this is what's wrong with
Stacy's baby. As it can be corrected, like
you said.

It is certainly better than other things
out there, that's for sure. sometimes
kids still have some learning
difficulties, but there is medical help
available. I hope she can get through
this with the best possible outcome!

we went for a scan with the consultant
again a few weeks ago who def confirmed
that again the fluid on the brain had
risen and at this time all he could do was
confirm that something would be wrong with
him. he couldnt tell us if we d get him
home staright away or not he said it would
depend on lots of things like breathing
etc.
on several occasions in the last month he
s suggested termination which grately
upset me, i was like im 30 weeks thats
crazy we wouldnt even consider it
im back again in 4 weeks for another scan,
this has been the worst pregnancy ever
everything is so uncertain and they keep
telling us that they cant tell the
severity of his problems till hes here
what bugs me are we are both healthy and
we planned this baby

Wish there was something that i could say
or do to make you feel better but i
realise that that would be impossible.
I really hope that you dont recieve
anymore bad news.

Stacy, I am glad you posted again, I have
been wondering how you were geting on. I
can't imagine the tension you must be
having right now. I know you will love
your baby no matter what! My thoughts are
with you. Let's hope for a smooth

i see the consultant again in 3 weeks so i
might find out if i can have the baby at
my local hospital or if ill have to go to
a big hospital... i have also been advised
that water pool may not be allowed for
pain relief because there is a problem
with the baby. im hoping ill go before
the 3 weeks
