Oh my! I am the biggest of airheads. I
have probably worn my underwear inside a
few dozen times in my adult life. I I have
also worn my shirt on backwards. The first
day of graduate school, I actually wore a
button up shirt inside out. When I was
putting it on, I did notice that it was
hard to button it up. For some reason I
just thought that shirt could have been
made in Europe. I have some European pants
and the button is on the opposite side.
It was quite embarrassing going my first
day and having some one point it out. Some
people probably had me tagged as an
airhead from day one. The school
secretaries at my work, wherever I work,
usually adopt me. They are always putting
my tags in my shirts, they let me know
when I forget the dry cleaning tag and
remind me of things like that which I
often don't remember. I am commonly
referred to as the "absent-minded
professor" type.
One time, I almost went to work with two
completely different shoes on. I was
trying them on at home trying to decide
which one I like best and got distracted
(a bit ADHD and NOT a morning person). I
forgot about it and drove to work. I got
out of my car to notice my shoes didn't
match. Luckily I didn't have any early
morning meetings that day and home was
only 10 minutes away. My excuse is that I
have other more important things on my
mind then to pay attention to "stupid"
things like tags and such. We all need to
rationalize when/if we do things like
this, right?
Gosh you guys are going to think I am an
airhead!! I am glad Karen has done the
same things with shirts and price tags.

omg that's hilarious. you just reminded
me of something. last summer i went out
with two different sandals on. one was
black the other was brown. they were kind
of similar but clearly not the same pair!!
god that was embarrassing. the other
day we were shopping at safeway and i was
trying so hard to button up my sweater
without doing it crooked. i finally got
it done and a while later i asked by
boyfriend how it looked and he said it was
crooked!! i said to him "can you help me
out a little here?? you can see the
bottom of my belly better than i can". so
he did my sweater up for me like i'm a
little kid. lol

That sandal story is pretty funny! How
long was it until you noticed they were
different? Were you out and about for a
while? That's a cute story about Safeway.
Your boyfriend probably thought it was
adorable.

i was at work
you know i was probably doing the same
thing, checking to see which shoes worked
best with my outfit, because i do that
sometimes. i just looked down at my feet
halfway through the day and noticed it.
the room i was working in is kept pretty
dark most of the time to see the computer
screens better so i was hoping no one
would notice. but i told my one coworker
because i knew she would see the humour in
it and it was just too funny to keep to
myself. i ended up walking home at lunch
time to change before anyone else noticed
what a goof i am. lol
good to see im not the only airhead hehe,
in highschool i went to school with my
shirt on inside out the entire day, i
didnt notice it until i was on the bus on
the way home lmao.
