Burning feeling during urination or
"disuria" is typical for inflammation of
the distal parts of urinary tract such as
the urethra and bladder. Frequent
urination is also present during these
conditions. Blood in the urine
(hematouria) can be also present in cases
of bladder inflammation (cystitis)
although not so often. Inflammation of the
urinary tract is usually due to infection.
Urinary infections are more common for
women than men. It is hard to believe that
sex caused urinary infection because you
used a condom. Anyway, you can visit a
gynecologist for a check up, to report
your symptoms, and to diagnose the
condition.
