I am on Orthotricyclen and have been on
them for about a year. On June 9th I took
my last green sugar pill and my husband
and I had sex that day, he ejaculated
inside of me. I miss one day for not
taking the pill, but Monday the 11th I got
my refills and took the white active pill.
I am nervous if I am gonna get pregnant.
I am always taking my pills everyday and
it has just been this one time that I have
miss my pill. If you could I just need
feedback please. Thank you.

It is definitely possible that you could
be pregnant. I think it was .Eiri who
said that the beginning of a pack is the
riskiest time to miss a pill.

You were at some risk for pregnancy,
because you started the pack late.
How much risk, if any at all, we cannot
really tell you.

Actually it is week two and three that are
the riskiest. I asked my doctor about
that. 2-3 is when it is most likely that
you will ovulate, although it is always
possible to ovulate early it is not likely
that you will ovulate again right after
you have your period. This will give you a
better idea:
menstrual phase Day 1–Day 4
follicular phase Day 5–Day 13
ovulation a few days before or after day
14 <<when you can get pregnant
luteal phase day 15–day 26
ischemic phase day 27–day 28

That is ONLY for a woman with a 28 day
cycle though.
I work in womens health, gyn, not just
'family practice'.
Women with a 24 day cycle ovulate
earlier.
On the pill women do not ovulate, so if
you miss 2 or 3 pills at ANY point, other
than the placebos, you could ovulate
immediately.
