I have been eating no different than i did before i was pregnant. At my 3 months visit i only gained 1 pound. I was quite surprised, but was really happy. I know it's going to go up more, but i am heavy to begin with so this was great news for me. Every woman is different.

Yup, drink lots and lots of water. When .I craved sweets I made fruit smoothies in my magic bullet. Use ice, whatever fruit you like (frozen strawberries and banana was my fav) and juice. You can use milk if you want it richer. You can also blend up non fat yogurt with ice to make a yogurt smoothie. It's healthy and better for you than cookies or my personal fav. ice cream!!!

A lot of people get into the mind set that they are eating for 2. Yes, you need to eat healthy and nutritious meals, but not more than you normally would.

I am kind of in the same boat I am 8 weeks preggers and have gained about 3-4lbs, and I honest to god have not changed my eating habits. If anything my change was for more fruits and veggies and more health conscious choices. By no means do I feel I am eating for 2.
My pants already dont fit, cant do up the top buttons anyways.
Any suggestions as to why, is it water gain??

you will put on a lot of water weight because of your increased blood supply, which can also account for some of your extra weight, plus there's a baby in there!! your uterus will already be growing. ah, i can't believe how big my tummy is now, i remember just feeling around when it was tennis ball size, then grapfruit size lol. now i feel like i swallowed a beach ball!

Laughing yeah... i do like to poke arround to feel my tummy, i'm about a grapefruit.. Well i guess as long as i really watch what i eat and try not to give into the cravings too often, then i'll be ok. Unless my Dr. says something.
